Auckland City Scenic Flight
35 minute helicopter scenic flight
See the awesome views of Auckland City through this spectacular scenic flight. Departs from North Shore Aerodrome and continues down to Chelsea Sugar Works, views the Harbour Bridge and City. Head around the Sky Tower past Auckland Zoo, One Tree Hill and Mt Eden. Head north out to view the crater of Rangitoto Island Volcano, before returning to North Shore Aerodrome via the stunning North Shore Beaches.
Coastal Discovery
40 minute helicopter scenic flight
Taking off from the aerodrome in North Shore, this flight covers flying over the Waitakere ranges, as a feature of west Auckland, and its rainforests before heading to the rugged West Coast. Then we pass Bethells Beach above high volcanic cliffs that hang over the world well-known black sand beaches.
By swooping towards the Manukau Harbour, where the turbulent sea gives way to a wide waterway leading to the cityscape of Downtown Auckland you go through experiencing different moods. You can see views of Eden Park, Viaduct, The Museum, Sky Tower, Auckland Ports, Viaduct Harbour, The Cloud, and Wynyard Quarter.
We cross the Waitemata Harbour to view Mt Victoria, The Devonport Naval Base, and the volcanic cone of Rangitoto Island (Auckland is on the remnants of 52 volcanoes). Before returning to our aerodrome we continue passing Takapuna Beach, Lake Pupuke, Milford, Browns Bay and Okura River.
Gulf Harbour/Hibiscus Coast
15 minute helicopter scenic flight
Soaring up from North Shore Aerodrome we pass Silverdale, Stillwater, and Whangaparoa to the Gulf Harbour. Then all its beaches and sea up to the coast of Puawai Bay to Hatfields Beach. Returning to North Shore via the stunning Wainui golf course.
It is a short flying adventure around the north-east coast of Auckland, its towns and beaches with a big pack of drama.
Northern Experience / Sculpture Scenic
30 minute helicopter scenic flight
Taking off from North Shore Aerodrome you head north along the stunning Hibiscus Coast to the top of the Mahurangi Harbour.
You get to see all the beautiful beaches and islands along the way.
From there you head along some of the greenest farmlands towards the Kaipara Harbour where you get a great aerial view of Gibbs Farm’s sculptures. Finally heading along the beautiful Kaipara Harbour before heading back to North Shore Aerodrome
